![]() POD HD Pro should still work, though, and it should recognize the POD. Monkey won't run on Catalina, as it's a 32-bit application, and MacOS no longer supports 32-bit software. ![]() Some people on this thread are saying you don't need Line 6 Monkey to download all the necessary files, however, even without Monkey (which itself seems STILL to be without a Catalina compatible update), I get a message saying the software does not "see" a connected Pod HD Pro.Īny help / solution would be greatly appreciated as I really need to get this thing up and running for an impending project. I am assuming this should have been enough connectivity for the software to recognise the hardware, but alas it seems not. It is currently connect to my audio interface via 2 x balance XLR inputs and a USB cable. Ii) The POD HD Pro Edit Software program opens but then says it can't see my connected HD Pro. Ive also downloaded and attempted to run Line 6 Monkey. Click on Continue to begin with the macOS Catalina installation procedure. Click on macOS Catalina Patcher to proceed further. I have downloaded and run the installers for the latest drivers and Pod HD Pro Edit software that is available on the download section of the site. Once the download is complete, click on the download manager at the top-right corner of the Safari window and double-click on the file. ![]() I don't understand the reasons of Line6 to end the support.įound this thread as I have just acquired a Pod HD Pro. If Line6 stops giving support, you might as well buy products of other brands. I always thought that Line6 is a good choice for the support too, not only for the quality of the products. I have a kb37 and the driver still works with Catalina. Say what you want about Windows, but Windows 10 still support 32-bit software. New in Catalina and iOS 13 is a combined limits feature, designed to let you create limits with combinations of app categories, specific apps, or websites. Apple dropped 32-bit entirely with Catalina, so it's puts the burden on other companies to react. I mean the thing with this Catalina thing is that is was entirely a decision that Apple made that caused the issue. I'm nearly certain that instead of trying to update Monkey to 64-bit, that what Line 6 is going to do is going to make it so Line 6 Updater supports the Variax. Line 6 has continued to support it only because there are a few hardware SKUs that still use it, the Variax being one of them. The original Workbench is 32-bit only, and will not.Īs far as Monkey, it's ancient software at this point. I expected much better after spending so much money. They say that they are working on it but I doubt that they are being truthful. They have no problem selling you their products but will leave you hanging when your equipment is basically non functional for what you would like to use it for. Line 6 apparently could care less because this has been an issue for a very long time and they have done nothing to correct this issue. Nope! The hardware is working just fine but Workbench and Monkey will not work with Catalina and there's nothing I can do about it. I bought a brand new Macbook Pro, Variax and Helix Native thinking I would be good to go and ready to play.
